Your church profile is how members and visitors discover and connect with your church in SoapBox. A complete profile helps people understand who you are and what you offer.

Accessing Profile Settings

  1. Go to Admin > Settings > Church Profile
  2. Or click your church name in the top navigation

Basic Information

Church Name

  • Your official church name
  • This appears everywhere in the app
  • Include common name (not just legal name)

Description

Write a compelling description:
  • Who you are
  • Your mission and vision
  • What makes you unique
  • What visitors can expect
Keep your description welcoming and jargon-free. Write for someone who’s never been to church before.

Add all your regular gatherings:
  • Morning and evening services
  • Contemporary and traditional
  • Different campuses
  • Language-specific services

Visual Identity

Upload your church logo:
  • Recommended: Square format (1:1)
  • Minimum: 200x200 pixels
  • Formats: PNG, JPG, SVG
  • Transparent background preferred

Cover Image

Add a header/banner image:
  • Recommended: 1920x600 pixels
  • Shows on your church’s main page
  • Use welcoming imagery
  • Include people when possible

Profile Image

Secondary church image:
  • Used in search results
  • Church cards and lists
  • 400x400 pixels recommended
Use high-quality, professional photos. Avoid clipart or stock images when possible.

List your core values:
